Key Highlights

Level Overview
When I started creating this level I knew it was going to be a level about onboarding the player. First I did a very basic layout of the level and then divided different parts into where I wanted to teach the player the game mechanics.
The process after that was a lot of playtesting and iterating on the different areas to make them a bit more interesting in shape and logically connected with corridors and such leading to the different exhibitions.
The Exhibitions
Since the game takes place inside a museum we wanted the exhibitions and the style of it feel a little bit wacky, where they would exhibit household appliances but they are bigger than usual. This made so we could justify using those as platforming segments throughout the game.
I also did most of the set dressing of this level, and you can see some of the result in the screenshots.
